Daughters are Romie (13), & Arian (3) & partner Adrien. Tragically, on August 8th we experienced what a lot of us would all conclude to be the worst nightmare ever. As a result of Hurricane Dora, we dealt with the intense wind which started a rapid wildfire that took out almost the entirety of Lahaina town. Due to the circumstances of how fast winds & smoke were traveling with the fire, we needed to evacuate our home immediately. We left in a panic and did not get the chance to pack anything we need. Not knowing this would be the last time we would return home. I am saddened to even sit here and post this because I know the whole community is hurting for each other right now. I am however so grateful we were led by the hands of god & we are still alive.
